Shia LeBeouf Slams 'Transformers 2,' Starts Filming Part 3 Next Week

They're not really sure what Shia LeBeouf was thinking when he slammed Transformers 2 today in an interview -- especially when he's about to start filming the third movie in the series next week. We're guessing he was trying to say expect way better things this next time around? Either way, doesn't seem like the best idea, dude. That's a recipe for a really awkward workweek!

He apparently said he "wasn't impressed with what we did" for part 2 (via PopEater), and the movie's "heart was gone" last time around. He also included things like director Michael Bay went "so big that it became too big, and I think you lost the anchor of the movie."

But, no matter how under par he thinks Revenge of the Fallen was, he has way high hopes for Transformers 3. "There's going to be a lot of death, human death. This time, they're targeting humans," he said. "It's going to be the craziest action movie ever made, or we failed." Bold statement, Mr. LeBeouf.

Even if they do fail with the third installment, the flick will likely be a big money maker no matter what. The sequel raked in $400 million in US box offices, and that's definitely no failure.
